Mithun Chakraborty is stable says Kolkata hospital

Veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty, who was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata after complaining of severe chest pain, is reported to be “quite stable” and recuperating well. The 73-year-old actor has undergone an MRI and other medical tests, and the hospital has stated that he is fully conscious, well-oriented, and active.

He will undergo further investigations before his discharge. The hospital’s official statement mentioned that Mithun has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) and is being evaluated by a team of doctors, including a neuro-physician, cardiologist, and a gastroenterologist.

Mithun, who was recently honored with the Padma Bhushan, has acted in around 350 films in Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Bhojpuri, and Tamil. The actor’s health update has brought relief to his fans and well-wishers, and they are hoping for his speedy recovery.
